Yes, many people like football, but no, I don't. Perhaps it would be something half-decent to have playing in the background with others around, but otherwise I don't enjoy it at all.

Despite never having played it, I enjoy watching football a lot. The league doesn't really matter, I enjoy BPL, Bundesliga, Liga MX, MLS, and also any lower league games I can catch.

I usually watch one match a day, first half at lunch, second half at dinner. Made possible by DVR.

Also this:

The thing i hate is VAR (Video assistant referee). It makes the matches a hell of a lot less exciting to watch than they used to be. It's great watching matches below the Premier League that currently don't have VAR. A real shame that i think next season the Championship will have VAR. Waiting around for 3 minutes to see if a guy is literally 1mm offside is just ridiculous.
I don't tend to watch first hand as I don't watch TV anyway, and I certainly wouldn't subscribe to Sky either.

But I do keep up as best as I wish to.

There's some great footie to find in other places as you say too. I've always quite liked the African Nations Cup - that gets pretty dramatic. The World Cup OBVIOUSLY.

But I've also had fun with lower leagues too. The dram can be even more intense.

When I studied in Salford, I used to go with a buddy and watch Rochdale United. Not the best ground by any stretch by boy, did you get passion. And pie and peas.

My little local club, Spalding United, or the nearby Boston United have had good runs ove history and some have been worth going and watching too.

I grew up watching it. But now is super boring. Players act like divas to get fouls, the game is too defensive and teams just hog possession while waiting for the opposing team to make a mistake, and I do not know what bench players are paid to do - 3 subs per game, come on...

I will stick with North American sports. Except baseball. Another sleep-inducing sport.

Oh yes, I definitely watch every World Cup game I can. And also the many other tournaments, such as the Euros, Concacaf, Gold Cup. I used to enjoy the Europa League and Champions League, but now they only show it here on premium channels.:steamsad:

A few times a year I get to watch a game from the USL, which is the league below the MLS.
They are usually pretty enjoyable. And I think there is going to be a third-tier league starting in the US pretty soon, one of the teams will play about 90 miles from us, and I would enjoy watching those lower league games in person.

You mean American football? I honestly don’t. I find sports boring but that’s just me. No hate to the people who enjoy it and know all of the players like the entire characters in Fairy Tail. (Good anime by the way)

Agree wholeheartedly.
Yet they also drive in parking lots and park in driveways.

Kinda difficult if you reside in any metropolitan or suburban area where most of the population live.

Investing in decent comfy shoes so you can make quick getaways helps.
I change my position on the topic.
