Even Lucas studio never had in 30 years the money to do it
I know, which is why I said "once Mr. Lucas passed away". In context of that post, I was basically saying "when Lucas dies, someone is going to buy Star Wars afterwords".
No worries Dr. Beckett. I have a bad habit of mixing tenses when I talk - they're hard to kill.
fox new, then CNN, then youtube, THEN PORN HUB
They're both forms of canon.
Which is the joke. Good example is Thrawn - he and the Chiss species were made in the EU books by Timothy Zahn. Fast forward with Disney and they're using those EU books to write their own canon.
Only Disney is dumb enough to say the source of their new canon is now no longer considered canon. Might as well erase half of their own canon at that point if they're not going to use it or acknowledge it.
Just like EA does with games, Disney does with movies... Keep pushing them out and lowering the quality each time to get the highest quantity to profit ratio until they start to lose money on it, then they kill it off and go on to ruin the next thing.
What is funny is Gaurdians of the Galaxy is more like old Star Wars than new Star Wars is.
Well I own and have read all of the bantam Star Wars EU books. Once I get a decent smartphone I can finally take a picture of it for my profile.
Getting back on topic, by the rule of I say so, EU is canon and what Disney is making isn't. Hell, you don't even need to read the books - the movies are proof enough of this. And (for me), that's the end of that.
