Cursor keys master race represent!!!

As a leftie playing with mouse on my left side for years the WASD setup always felt uncomfortable and cramped and my right hand rests easily on the cursor keys.

Also to make things weirder left handed mouse with right handed keybinds (no reversed mouse keys)

Imagine what you could do if you play it "properly" instead of facerolling all the time. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Depending on the game, there might not even be an option to use WASD. Just saying.

I'm a right hander, and disabled.

On older games like the original Tomb Raider using cursor keys hurts like hell within a few minutes. So a big no from me.

Plus I don't use normal mice - marble mice all the way with me. Used them for 20 years or so now and will never go back.

Mind you, on REALLY old games like using a ZX Spectrum emulator I can feel equally comfortable (relatively) using the old-school QAOP setup, two handed.

I've used cursor keys for movement for the last 25 years. Back then the cursor keys were used for control and the "z", "x", "c" keys - and the Spacebar - were the main action keys. I just got used to it.

I use the mouse the same as Titio.

I don't think I've ever once pressed the right-shift key.

I use cursor keys for some games and wasd for others, really depends on the game and what feels better with it.

I started by using the arrow keys, way back when. Because I did not know any better. now I use the wasd keys. But I can't train my old brain and my left hand to use the rest of the keys. like ctrl, shift etc. So I use a multi-button mouse for those.

My WSAD are now blank keys.

I'm using the standard WASD, but I may change that to something like ESDF or whatnot sometime in the future. A couple of years back I made the decision to swap mouse1 and spacebar (so now for most games, my primary fire or attack is spacebar, and my jump is mouse1) and after I made it past the point of no return, I never looked back.

A fun, semi-relevant video to throw in:
