Ebay scams on fake LOL dolls...
My step daughter got 10 LOL doll from her real father this christmas. Come christmas day, she opens them and they all fake. How do I know, well you can just tell of the bat, the plastic casing are not the same as the real ones and instead of soft heads and arms and legs they can move they all just hard plastic with cheap looking paint. Plus instead of the dolls, clothes and handbags being in blindbags, they were mosty lose in the plastic case.

She knows they fake and was a little upset about it. Lucky I bought her some real ones she got to open on christmas day too.

How stupid can some people be, how can ebay sell a set of lol dolls for half the price while shops sell them for like £10-£15 each and when these dolls are selling like hotcakes.

Its not my money so they nothing I can do about it. I though I share this :(

If they can be bought from the store, why buy on Ebay, where you can get scammed?
And the price was too cheap too, it's one thing you should check before buying stuff.
Sorry about it anyways, can you refund it?

Well I didn't buy them but I do believe ebay should be doing more to combat this crap and people should use their brains alittle more.

Did you use Pay Pal then you can take it up with Pay pal as they give buyer protection.

Nothing to do with me, her real dad bought them for her christmas present. anyway i gota go out. i be back later.
Ebay has always been a big scam like site. You REALLY have to be careful what you are getting on it. Sometimes you can pay $50 for something it comes in and its a small cheap item.

Id say always go through Amazon or other more official looking websites. I havent used Ebay since 2005 since I got scammed twice for crap I really wanted.

every popular toy gets knock offs made and as evident here gullible people buy them thinking they are the real deal and they are getting a bargain, when in fact they are getting an inferior product which probably also has toxic paint.

I know LOL dolls are expensive (I have them myself) which can make parents temped to buy cheap ones. Good on your step daughter for knowing they are fake though, pity she had to get such a crumby christmas present.

E-bay does, but they can only react, not prevent. They are just a middle man who the sell, sells through. They never see the actual product being shipped.

There are, unfortunately, people who scam, then create new accounts after their others were locked.

Had a friend who bought some Louis Vuitton sunglasses and when she got them, they looked like someone made them in their garage. Had it confirmed at a Louis Vuitton store, but they refused to give it in writing. Luckily someone else also reported the seller for a fake belt, so she was refunded. Last message she got from the seller was a threat and nasty message about something happening to her family...
