And the price was too cheap too, it's one thing you should check before buying stuff.
Sorry about it anyways, can you refund it?
Well I didn't buy them but I do believe ebay should be doing more to combat this crap and people should use their brains alittle more.
Nothing to do with me, her real dad bought them for her christmas present. anyway i gota go out. i be back later.
Id say always go through Amazon or other more official looking websites. I havent used Ebay since 2005 since I got scammed twice for crap I really wanted.
I know LOL dolls are expensive (I have them myself) which can make parents temped to buy cheap ones. Good on your step daughter for knowing they are fake though, pity she had to get such a crumby christmas present.
E-bay does, but they can only react, not prevent. They are just a middle man who the sell, sells through. They never see the actual product being shipped.
There are, unfortunately, people who scam, then create new accounts after their others were locked.
Had a friend who bought some Louis Vuitton sunglasses and when she got them, they looked like someone made them in their garage. Had it confirmed at a Louis Vuitton store, but they refused to give it in writing. Luckily someone else also reported the seller for a fake belt, so she was refunded. Last message she got from the seller was a threat and nasty message about something happening to her family...
