Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled (PC release)

Hello Steam community!

I want your thoughts on the likelihood of a PC release (preferably Steam) of the upcoming CTR:NF game. The game is set for a June 2019 release on PS4, Switch and Xbone with no mention of PC.

If we rewind a little, the previous Crash Bandicoot remaster, the N-Sane Trilogy, was released on PC separately exactly 1 year after the console versions.

Both the N-Sane Trilogy and Nitro-Fueled remasters are published by Activision, leading me to believe that CTR:NF will also release on Steam, similarly to N-Sane Trilogy, 1 year after the console release, meaning it would land in June 2020. I'll definitely wait until 2020 regardless because I'm not double-dipping.

Do you have any insider news which would suggest reasons either for or against the PC release?

All I did was address one side aspect - that of the sales of Spyro the dragon ONLY. I explained this sseveral times and you painted yourself so far into the corner that your ad hoc excuses have only made you look silly.

First of all, you made a public post, which I said it didn't make sense. After we discussed it, he made a point in his comment referring to ME and YOU. He "understood" it, and I put that into quotations because it doesn't mean he actually did, it means he was answering you, COMPLEMENTING your previous comment, agreeing with me at the end of it. He was just making a point.

And your first comment that starts all of this was made in response to me in the first place. What I did was to answer you, saying it makes no sense. Not criticizing, just pointing out it's not related to the port of CTR: NF whatsoever. BECAUSE OF THAT, he made that commentary. Now, what you're doing, is trying to evade that fact by saying the first comment was made to him.

Man, hahahahahaha. How stupid is that discussion, seriously? We're getting to the point where I have to analize the structure of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ text in the middle of nowhere because of a game not being ported to PC. See how dumb that sounds? There may be reasons they can't so you can't assume that because one is coming then the others can equally follow. It just doesn't work like that.

For a start, licencing can be completely different. That's a massive can of worms. Then there's technical issues like still having the source code, and how much work it is to port it.

As Nitro Fueled is a later and less fondly remembered one generally, it may be that it's not worth their time and money.

Nothing to do with Valve. That's not how it works at all.

Only the rights holders can decide what to do with their products. Valve don't go chasing down games.
