Some do. I don't think they do so as much as they used to though. Their figure, poster, shirt and other items have dwindled a lot over the years.

I suggest an anime/comic convention if you want some of those or find an place with an Asian market of some kind....that or order them on-line.

I wanted to buy uuuh ... "something" of a poster there but there was a beautiful woman at the cashier so I didn't dare, since I go to that store every now and then.
I hate the person that decided to fill up 1/3 of the store with those stupid low-quality pugface/'clannad after story' faces. What's those called? Nimbo? amibo? "Pop!" ?

There are plenty of anime games, these days and EB Games (What Gamestop is called over here) often sells video-game related merchandise.

So probably yes, depending on your timing.
