Have you ever ACTUALLY thrown a controller in rage?

Some people would describe hard games like Dark Souls as "Controller-Crushing" meaning the game CAN make you so angry you throw a controller in rage. I don't recall ever doing something like that so that honestly makes me wonder, just how often do controllers get thrown in rage? I just want to ask you, have you ever thrown a controller in rage and if you have, did it break or was it fine? I would like to hear your stories.

My friend threw my a controller at my tv and broke the screen because I was beating him at Mortal Kombat. Needless to say that there was two ass beatings that went down that day. Me kicking the crap out of my friend for breaking my tv, then my dad beating the crap out of me for his brand new tv being broken

When I was young, first getting into games on the Playstation One I would through my controller all the time. Usually at I think it was Crash Bandicoot (I spelled so wrong didn't I) games.

Games these days nah, I've calmed down a lot. But if I were to rage, it'd be Gears of War that makes me too competitive and sometimes I really wanna through my controller or just break something. That's when I just turn off the game and play something less competitive like Dark Souls.

I think it's entirely possible to get super mad without throwing thing.

Oh yeah. Most of the times though were games on the PS2 though. See back then players weren't spoiled with checkpoints, with games like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, you died once on a mission, there goes all your mission progress and weapons! Now Kingdom Hearts.. The rage on those games boss fights were the most intense.

I'll be honest, I never did, though moments of anger, they did happened. Yet strangely enough, even when playing against Quake 3 vets who play the game religiously, I still haven't got mad over it, though maybe it's because I knew how I was going to play regardless.

I actually bitten into my PS2 controller when I was a child after losing a race in Midnight Club 3. That was the first and only time I got frustrated enough to do something like that.

Great racing game but hard as hell for younger me xD

you reminded me of my sister, i had a few fancy ps2 controlers with extra buttons and stuff, but they all stopped working cause my sister chewed the cords :(
