scum patched windows boot loader detected

So I just went out and bought a top of the line gaming Laptop. Asus G703GI/17.3 Republic of Gamers Edition, 32gb ram, Nvidia 1080 GTX GeForce, 8gb dedicated ddr5, has nvidia overlay/broadcaster, the works. This thing is crazy for a laptop. My issue is I bought it to play Scum specifically as one of my main games. Now that I have updated the OS, I get this error message. "Patched windows boot loader detected". Then it tells me to restart my OS, so I restart my OS and same thing happens again. I literally just bought this thing, and now its telling me something about a boot loader? What the heck is that? Why can I not play this game now? This saddens me.I see it says in other posts reasons why are, could have a virus, which I know I dont its brand new, and besides steam and my anti virus, nothing else has been added on besides games. They say it could be hacks, well I know I have no hacks on here, I have no clue how to hack or even how to get a hack program, I seen a reddit post about launching the game with patchguard disabled, I guess it will fix it, but I dont know how to do that, and I dont want to break the rules, it didnt look like it was a legit thing to do. So I have no clue what I can do to play the game, I dont want to use a bypass that can get me banned, but at the same time I have no way to play for a game I bought. I didnt sign up for this. :( Anyone have any ideas on a legit way to fix the issue?

um he didnt lie about anything i boungt a brand new lapyop that came with windows 8 and i updated for free to windows 10 and i have an activate windows message now like what the ♥♥♥♥ i bought this laptop new why the ♥♥♥♥ doesnt my windows operating system count, what a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so im assumming thats why I cant play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game either

You can try uninstall the anti cheat and reinstall.Go into your scum game folder and try the EasyAntiCheat_setup.exe and see if that helps.

This sounds like the anti-cheat coming into conflict with the windows crack or finding it suspicious. There's not much we can do about it to be honest.

My computer was with Win8 pro it was very bad to play Scum with this system a simple update to Win10 solved many problems I didn't need to reinstall the system just updated
