Blue Yeti Mic NOT WORKING

I got my blue yeti mic over a year ago and at one point it worked! I played counter strike and it was 100% fine. I noticed after the new big steam change a few months ago it stopped working. I noticed when i was playing Rising Storm 2: Vietnam that when i would talk the little indicator on the right didn't move. It only worked when i un-muted my steel series Siberia V3 headset mic that i could talk.

It works on discord and it works on any game that doesn't use steams mic set up to use the mic, when i can manually change the mic settings in that game. My blue yeti works in the new CoD MW on battle.net.

My Yeti is set as the primary mic and i even disabled my steel series. Here's the wacky thing though. When i test my mic on steam. It reads the blue yeti . It works, even on steam calls. But when i play video games my buddies say that cant hear me in game and i have to un-mute my headset to talk.

Its a confusing mess and all the forms that are up for this problem are either old and out dated or just don't work. I don't know if there is even a solution for this problem but any help what so ever will be greatly appreciated! Thank You :)

by "primary mic" do you mean the primary communications device? because that is a separate thing you can set.

I just tried it and i noticed my headset was actually set the the primary communication device, i switched it to my blue yeti.

Ill try it in a bit to see if it works in halo, thank you :)
