DOTA 2 NOT UPDATING HELP! PLS REPLY :(

i pasted steamapps to the steam folder so i can avoid updating, but it won't update. i already restarted it many times it doesn't work too. i tried verifying the cache too but it's not working its just stuck at 0%. help guys

Does it show as Qued. If so in the download page just hit the up arrow on the right side.

i think this needs to be in dota2 subforum.

nevertheless, restart steam client and see if the march 9, 2017 had already been downloaded/applied.
afterwards, verify dota2 game.
do not do background download...

How much free disk space?

Exit Steam Client, go to your Steam folder and delete what is inside here:
...\Steamapps\Downloading
...\Steamapps\Temp

Relaunch Steam and try verify the game cache again.

Then wipe out or repair the entire Steam Client

Try the flush config method first...
Winkey+R
steam://flushconfig
Click OK
When it is done.
Restart Windows
Right click Steam desktop shortcut (or the Steam.exe directly) and click "Run As Admin"
