Steering wheel support icon

I think that on the pages of racing games, on Steam, there is not enough icon to support steering wheel with feedback, or at least an icon indicating that these races can be comfortably played on the steering wheel. I'm guessing there could be two types of icons, one for sim racing and the other for arcade racing. What do you think about this?

Seems like a good idea.

I mean, you got yer basic wheel thing, but there's also those full sim wheels with gear shifts and bells and whistles 'n whatnot. I happen to have one.

Plenty of racing games support basic steering.
But not every game supports all those extras.

So yeah, indication of basic support and full/sim support on the store page would be helpful.

Although I'm not really sure how unified the workings are of those fully featured controllers. Whether only certain manufacturers are supported by certain games.

I think that might be part of the issue. There is no unified standard. You can't declare a game "lightgun compatible" for instance because there is no Xinput standard equivalent for lightguns and I suspect driving peripherals are the same way. Each one is likely a little different and has different peccadilloes so it is unlikely Steam can certify anything. Controllers only got to this standard through decades of work to cobble together Xinput and the Steam controller wrapper for other things which still just BARELY works and breaks more often than not. The problem is endemic to computer peripherals and not easily solved by a single entity...
