Give us the option to delete/hide/unhide our completed badges and/or select which level to display.
Please. If not directly to ourselves, to the steam support. It isn't unreasonable, and it would just be a benefit for you, Valve, since I would have to pay again if I changed (again) my mind and wanted to craft the badge another time.

Anyone else with me? It's just asking more freedom about our own accounts, even if you don't want to delete your badges, there are people who do want this, and even the steam support itself is unable to do it.

Sure, why not i guess. But why do you want to delete badges? Did you complete one for a game you no longer support or something?

I crafted the blockland badge to get this :yaranaika: but I couldn't drop it. got the TF2 badge to have a showcase but I really dislike TF2. got the csgo badge because it's cool to max out, but being "chicken chaser" is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay cooler.

I don't see a reason for this... Maybe a option to change the order of the badges would be nice, but deleting them does not make sence imo.
And new crafted Badges should not give XP again.

I agree, deleting and remaking the badge for exp would just ruin the super accessible card economy. I want them to be cheap and accessible forever.

Agree.. If the ability to delete a badge was given, then.. there would have to be a "delete all Steam Level XP connected to that badge" function too. Crafting the cheaper badges over and over again to gain Steam levels shouldn't be allowed.

Still... it would be nice if those four "most recent badges" on the profile could be set to "whatever we want". For example i had deliberately waited to craft badges i want so they all displayed.. then my "3 year Steam" badge came around and threw it all off. Now the only way to get rid of that "3 years on Steam" badge is for me to craft the four new bages in order to "push" the "years of service" badge off my profile again.

Well of course that this should be regulated, but I don't see why I shouldn't be able to delete some of my badges if I don't want them. It's all about me. Take away my exp, deny any further item drop from that badge, but let me delete it.

You have the badge showcase for that, and that's indeed why you can't customise those badges.

Maybe asking to hide it may be better? i mean that will mean less work for Valve, allow you to keep the level (if you so like) and cancel later, as well as not show the badge, and not allow recrafting of Cheap badges as was said before

The badge showcase isn't good enough. Those 4 "most recently crafted" badges area is /front and center/ on the profile. If you are going for a specific "look" or mood on your profile suddenly being forced to display an "out of theme" badge can kind of ruin it >.>

Still, i understand what the badge showcase is for. i just wish for something more. :butterfly:

I want a CS:GO badge at level one. I recognise that it was my fault, so I'm willing to have my badge deleted, recraft the level 1 badge I wish, without getting any other item drop.

Why would recraft of cheap badges be bad? The worst thing it can happen is that the cards value raises, hence more profits for valve. I don't see how that would be bad.

Of course that if you delete a badge, you also lose all the experience that badge gives.

Eh... but then again, as you already said: that's Valve's way to keep you crafting :)

Indeed. This would just increase their profits. You don't see? :yaranaika:

Well its bad for users that do not want to pay much for leveling up, on the start
And it also is going to break the level limit, that for now only apply on events

And come on Valve is a company, they are here for profit, but not only that :D:

If you take off the experience that the badge grants, it's not going to break any "level limit" (which is, by the way, non existant, since you can level up infinite times the 'event' badges).

Regarding the card's price... that might be a bummer for the users with a small wallet, but for a company that aims only to make more money, I don't see how that could be a bad thing.

Then again: if you deny any further item drop, and if, upon deleting a badge, you take off from the account the experience that badge granted, I don't see how this would increase the cards' prices.
