If the points are useless to you then just ignore them, at present there is no need for steam to lose millions offering free money
Why should you be allowed to double dip?
You just want free stuff and ask about that in a rather shameless manner.
I've used it probably 3 times for stuff and that's it. It's just a bit of fluff. It has 0 monetary value.
They might introduce something in the future, though with the way people farm points by making bogus content (artworks, guides, reviews, etc) I very much doubt it'll become reality.
It's fine that they're useless to you. They're mostly useless to me as well. Keep in mind that not everybody belongs to the target audience, nor does a service have to provide for everybody.
Nowadays, with the ammout of available points in people's accounts, any points-to-money ratio would be so outrageously bad that people would complain of how many points they need to get some money instead of not being able to spend any.
That it was. Though I imagine that most people that spent points to buy the voucher would have used it the moment they got it.
I just thought it'd be a cool way to get some money off of purchasing games. I've spent thousands of dollars here and it would be nice if these points were useful for returning or loyal customers. For example, exchanging 1000 points for even a $5 discount doesn't seem that crazy to me. I think it would encourage people to spend their money here instead of Epic or somewhere else.
How do I do this?
Like this: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/tradingcards/discussions/2/4748497451435153117/
then i will recommend this
1 cent for 10 million steam points conversion rate.
this conversion rate should apply to all currencies throughout the whole world.
in other words, every 10 million Steam points is equal to 1 cent.
