Steam Wallet Credit for Steam Points
I am trying to leave feedback to suggest that Steam allow us to use our Steam Points to buy games. I do not care about cosmetics or in game items, these are worthless to me unless I feel like I want to support a specific developer by buying extra in game items. As of now, Steam Points are useless to me, but, if there were a way to exchange them for credit on buying games, I would use all of them. It doesn't even have to be 1:1 points for dollars. Maybe if you earn 100,000 points, you can exchange them for a $25 Steam wallet credit for example. If this is not the place to post this, please inform me of the proper place. Thanks!!

It's not the place as it won't be done. Steam has toyes with points for coupons in the past and decided against it with current point system.

If the points are useless to you then just ignore them, at present there is no need for steam to lose millions offering free money

Steam Points are an incentive to purchase stuff like games on Steam.
Why should you be allowed to double dip?
You just want free stuff and ask about that in a rather shameless manner.

Been suggested many times before. Steam did this during sales by allowing users to use points to buy a coupon for money off. Clearly they have their reason for not continuing that practice. If you don't care about the point stuff just don't use it.

I've used it probably 3 times for stuff and that's it. It's just a bit of fluff. It has 0 monetary value.

Vouchers would be nice, though one might want to take into consideration that it's likely intentional that they aren't there. After all, Valve has tried tokens for vouchers during a few sales and they didn't bring them along when the points shop came.

They might introduce something in the future, though with the way people farm points by making bogus content (artworks, guides, reviews, etc) I very much doubt it'll become reality.

It's fine that they're useless to you. They're mostly useless to me as well. Keep in mind that not everybody belongs to the target audience, nor does a service have to provide for everybody.

And back then Steam points had an expiration date.
Nowadays, with the ammout of available points in people's accounts, any points-to-money ratio would be so outrageously bad that people would complain of how many points they need to get some money instead of not being able to spend any.

That it was. Though I imagine that most people that spent points to buy the voucher would have used it the moment they got it.

Steam Points are not supposed to have any monetary value. even using the point shop does not have monetary benefit for anyone.

I add to this the complaint (myself included) that points are used to leave prizes for spam comments in the Spanish forum, there should be a filter for that or that the points can be used for content on the platform with more than 15 days of publication.

U can sell steam points for gems to other users by giving them awards. They're willing to pay.

I just thought it'd be a cool way to get some money off of purchasing games. I've spent thousands of dollars here and it would be nice if these points were useful for returning or loyal customers. For example, exchanging 1000 points for even a $5 discount doesn't seem that crazy to me. I think it would encourage people to spend their money here instead of Epic or somewhere else.

if wants points to money ratio

then i will recommend this

1 cent for 10 million steam points conversion rate.

this conversion rate should apply to all currencies throughout the whole world.

in other words, every 10 million Steam points is equal to 1 cent.

that is not a supported trade. if either party doesnt keep up their side of the deal, steam support will not assist nor return scammed items.
