So split the current playerbase. You just defeated any reason to release it on Steam.
What are you talking about?!?
THat's not a thing that they can do.
Mods don't get banned.
Period.
That has never happened for any game, and would be the kiss of death for any company.
He's talking about this[www.pcgamesn.com].
Yeah, that's clearly not real.
LOL.
Microsoft has no power to do that, and even if they did, the fallout would literally be NUCLEAR.
So, they would never do so.
It's 100% fake because of how the rules work.
No company has ever banned a mod from existing.
EVER.
Even Microsoft won't want to be the first company to blow themselves up with a nuclear bomb over this. :P
Seriously, how can anyone believe this is real?
A lot of the new rules make it so they can takedown your server or demand changes or else it'll be taken down. Anything basically not all ages or considered "adult content", including gun mods/gta-like servers etc are apparently prone to this takedown change. Many firearm mod servers have been taken down.
Except no sane human can claim it's happened.
They literally don't have the power to do so.
It's not how servers for Minecraft works.
They do have that power. They have the right to DMCA and take down custom servers if they don't follow the ToS.
What are you talking about?
THat's not how it works.
It's literally just like hosting custom TF2 servers. If Valve sees those servers breaking their ToS, they can remove them.
Same with the bedrock version of Minecraft.
I'm sorry, but what do you mean here?
That's not how Servers work. At all.
Or mods in general.
