Symmetrical Controllers

There are three controllers I have seen online for the upcoming steam machines that I think are all great models, though only one of them is being made available to the masses. Yet the one to be released is also the one asymmetrical model. There used to be a trackball on the original prototype controllers that some people would have preferred over a pad. It was changed because SYMMETRY is advantageous for LEFTIES who use "southpaw" now why go and state this to the world and follow it with an asymmetrical controller being the ONLY option available for purchase.
Give us the option to pick between the three models that have been shown to us all.

there were no 3 controllers upcoming for steam machines. there are 0/zero/nada/null controllers for steam machines. why? steam controller was made for PC and a steam machine is no special device, it is a standard small-form-factor PC with SteamOS, a linux distro based on Debian, preinstalled

they made many prototypes, yes, i personally saw over 20 but the very first more produced version they sent out to beta testers in end 2013/start 2014, so nearly 2 years ago, was this[i.imgur.com]. 2 trackpads and some buttons. a version with a trackball never saw any bright sunlight and future to be ever used. would make no sense, trackballs are not used by many people.

if you want to say that you need 2 physical analog sticks ... well, then use a ps4 or 360 controller. the trackpads replace analog controls pretty well anyway, the added analog stick on the final steam controller is a convenient option.
