Group chat rules

Please post some group chat rules. You have a link for general discussion rules, but technically they do not apply to the group chat.

Looks as if the rules page has changed to state

These guidelines apply to all places in the Steam Store and Community where users can post content.

This would technically include the chatrooms, in my opinion.

Loosely, yes, I think some of that does apply to group chats. It is not specific enough, however. The rules state that a user may not "Repetitively post in the incorrect forum (example: trade requests belong in trading forum)", but this specifies a forum, not a chatroom.

I think my main concern here is that most groups don't have any rules for their chatrooms. The ones that do, I have seen, have the rules buried somewhere in the forums.

Why not give groups a "Group Chat Rules" or simply a "Group Rules" button on their homepage? This could be placed directly below the button that allows users to join the chatrooms, or maybe in an even more convenient location. This way, every group can specifically detail their rules in an easy-to-find place.
