Option to disable auto-scrolling on store pages
I would like to take my own time to consider what i'm looking at, before you swipe next game or game picture on to me. What's more annoying that just when you are about to click a game to go in its store page, *woosh* and you click the next game you didn't want. Next you come back and the list is randomized with new titles.

the scrolling is disabled when the mouse is over it and you can manually navigate though it with the scollbar/buttons below

When i try it (tested just now), it will autoscroll both when my cursor is on top of the Right arrow, and on top of the big game image.

But i'm also saying that the autoscroll is happening on the store page of each game too.

And it's not a broken mousewheel problem, the change is happening on same time intervals, and when i mousewheel it moves the page down, not interact with the selected game.

I would also like to turn the auto scroll off. I get so frustrated at the image changing while I'm trying to look at it that I just quit checking out new games.
Steam, pretty please give us an option to turn off auto scroll, or shut it off as soon as a user interacts with a photo/video. Please.

Holy crap yes. I just ragequit the store page because I couldn't keep the stupid thing from continually taking control and scrolling my options by. Even when you click and hold the slider the stupid interface yanks the view away. You don't need that feature there. NEVER take control of the user interface from the user when they have control over it. Never never never never never.

+1, the autoscroll carousel is awful.

So much this. I hate the slideshow effect. It's almost never helpful. I'm constantly fighting it.

Well Valve? Wake up and listen to your users!

you see the little boxes below the game that is showing at the moment? hover over the highlighted one (the game you are wanting to look at). this will prevent the carousel from advancing to the next game.

This is obvious. What is NOT obvious is why Valve is forcing automatic carousels, Stop making excuses for lazy coding.

It seems that recent updates have made it so you can point mouse over the big picture and no autoscrolling happens.
