Okay, then why trans would offend a straight male by calling them "cis". We all know what that means by now. It an act of defiant against straight people.
How would I know why some unidentified person is using a term? I’d generally presume “because it’s accurate and relevant,” but your toy scenario is excessively thin on details. Explain what the damage is, please? What’s the slur entailed in “your gender identity corresponds to your sex?”
Yes, that's correct
Since when do people deserve authority or obedience merely for being straight?
No, I'm saying people are making up things to be outraged about because they WANT a bad guy to rally against.
Firstly, no, it isn't, not sure where you pulled that definition from. Secondly, trans people (and the left in general) are not "intolerant of reality and factual things", so you're two for two on made up nonsense.
Most of social media is toxic and counter-productive "us vs them" rhetoric.
They wouldn't. it's not a slur and it's not offensive.
its crazy to me that this redundent request has gone on for 7 pages (likely laced with bickering) and even more so to me that it hasnt been locked.
no... Cis is in fact often used as a slur
it is offensive when people say it as if its a lesser category, which ive seen it used that way MANY times.
No, you haven't.
Its very difficult to miss the recent events and the threats all over from the people that is about.
Pretending its not true doesn't make it less true.
Maybe a good chunk of a group shouldn't make threats or do mass casualty attempts or plot them, then. Hard to falsify things that actally happened or were caught before happening due to citizens reporting behavior.

Head in the sand doesn't change that these things are true. Bigotry isn't solely things against left leaning beliefs. Also left groups are extremely intolerant and prone to violence over mere disagreement these days. So many boots on the ground videos and media have shown this especially for the past 4-8 years to be primarily true.
So social media is suddenly only wrong when the group makes themselves look bad or when people report such?
People are telling that group its "us vs them" that disagreement of that is "mass ending" which keeps turning many of them to commit or plot mass ending events, and its usually done to children, the more innocent and defenseless.
Again, these videos are online to see such threats and to see the events that happened and ones that were prevented. If a group has a problem as a whole, it should be admitted and dealt with not ignoring the problem and encouraging dangerous statements which causes extremist events.
Very hard for someone to say none of this is a thing when it keeps happening.
Typically it is actually used as a slur, Twitter bans people for it as well.
I'd be very worried now. They just revealed that they know more about what you have seen and heard than you do.
Unfortunately it does not seem like Valve is taking these issues as seriously as they should be, as evidenced by the fact that there are people in the thread calling for violence against these groups, who's posts have not been removed and the people have only received bans for unrelated reasons. Hopefully, this will change in the future.
