Pretty sure Valve already owns the page as it redirects to the steam store. They don't need a special page for it.

steam.com is not owned by Valve.

if it even does redirect to anything for you, you might wanna check for malware because the server behind the domain is dead for good.

i dont think Valve has any interest in buying the domain. that just means legal and trademark trouble or spending a few hundred millions.

I think you'd be wrong. I'm sure they'd be interested if only to prevent criminals from abusing @steam.com email addresses and the site itself.

When I tried it earlier it redirected me to the steam store and I was already logged in. Now the page won't load.

Something tells me that if someone is putting stuff on there and spoofing the steam page that they are not going to willingly sell it to Valve.


My guess is that they have not bought it yet because who ever does own it, knows Valve is a billion dollar company and wants millions if not hundreds of millions for it and its just not worth it to Valve.

Well they've only had over 17 years to make that happen... so either they don't want, or the price exceeds their interest so they don't want it enough. Take your pick.
