if it even does redirect to anything for you, you might wanna check for malware because the server behind the domain is dead for good.
i dont think Valve has any interest in buying the domain. that just means legal and trademark trouble or spending a few hundred millions.
@OP: If they were to get it, it'll probably just lead to the main storefront.
Something tells me that if someone is putting stuff on there and spoofing the steam page that they are not going to willingly sell it to Valve.
My guess is that they have not bought it yet because who ever does own it, knows Valve is a billion dollar company and wants millions if not hundreds of millions for it and its just not worth it to Valve.
Well they've only had over 17 years to make that happen... so either they don't want, or the price exceeds their interest so they don't want it enough. Take your pick.
