The Steam Client steals the focus 3-4 times when loading in Windows. Please change that to 0.

If I'm finishing up a project in another program and tell Steam to load so it's ready when I'm finished, it will steal the focus at least three times while it's loading, making it a pain to try to "let it load in the background."

Please change this to 0, so it doesn't steal focus at all while the client is loading.

i didnt know you could get 2 to have to avoid them in the 1st place , so no idea, i just make the shortcut in the steam folder then add the command line and pin to taskbar. nothing special.

Thats a windows setting, group them up or whatever the option is to remove that.

i can only get it to look like that by changing those settings. The only other thing i have/use that changes that behaviour is a start menu replacement. I want/need the notification area to me mirrored to all my monitors, win11 doesnt do it like how win10 did so i use all start back

Ahhh, That's why, you use a program to alter the function of windows start/taskbar.
I won't buy/install a third party program just to get around a "bug" made by Valve.
They should just fix it.

i dont know if its a windows 11 thing or a steam thing, it did not behave the same way on other versions of windows, or if it did it was something you could change without the need of a 3rd party program as win11 is the 1st time i installed a replacement.

I had the same problem on Win10. Don't remember win 7/8/8.1.

Have you tried:
Exit steam
Unpin steam
Create steam shortcut on desktop (browse to steam.exe in program files x86)
Add -silent to that shortcut
Start steam with the desktop shortcut

Of course, there is no other way to do it.

I hope Valve someday will fix this issue. Here is a wild idea, they could add a "silent startup" to the settings.
