Getting Triggered over Talk of Trolling an Trolls on Steam Forum

Steam needs to really update its policies on this, some users continue to go around calling everyone a troll and its super annoying and turns the forum into a battle ground of argument. it needs to stop, calling a user a troll or even suggestion they are trolling is just an other form of Name & shame, it just needs to stop.

Its bullying and we don't accept bullying in society any more, we should no longer accept it on steam forums.

People need to be able to have discussion without being accused of anything.

there is no truth revealed when you lie about people, its very disgusting to see steam users attack each other, what is even more disgusting is it is high level steam users.

i think its obvious how high level steam users won't leave low level users alone to their opinions, its turned into a attack at every turn, they try to discredit users who disagree with them.

What is a real shock is how steam seems afraid to stop these bad actors and allow them to continue to attack an ridicule other steam users.

as steam users we aren't asking for miracles, just that the double sided and negative comments directed at everyone who isn't them, Stops.

steam could easily clean up this mess by taking action against the attacks, being a real company for once that protects all of its users.

While there at it they should also ban people who troll by posting fake conspiracies, calling people bots, shills, fake accounts, etc. Get rid of all the trolling and make the forums and discussions based on actual facts.

it is still a accusation regardless of evidence users might or might not have, as it 100% falls into the shaming and naming of others users, you might consider them a troll, you might know they are a troll but your not allowed to discuss it.

same rules apply for cheaters and scammers, we are not allowed to accuse anyone of cheating or scamming, with evidence or not.

You also aren't allowed to accuse people of being bots, shills for steam, etc yet somehow that doesn't stop some users from doing so....

I am 100% and truthfully declaring i am not fishie, i dunno who he or she is, but i am allowed to agree with some threads they make , you can believe me or not, but the truth is you are accusing me of something i didn't do, which is all the more reason you shouldn't accuse people of anything.

it reflects poorly on steam and ultimately turns users away or turns users into enemy's of steam or the community, its horrible to attack people like this. and its sadly costs steam money from the real users who speak up and realize that steams double standards are why the forum and the platform has such negative reviews.

anyone who uses the forum can see the type of community it is and it is over all disgusting and hurtful to a majority of real steam users.

I use the term real because steam really is made up of free user accounts, while sure some of you have spent and put money into steam, a vast huge amount of users do not. thanks for paying the bills for us to keep using steam for free, but it still doesn't give you any right to accuse people.

Om tyhe contrary. When one self-identifies and openly declare their intents as such. It no longer becomes an accusation. It becomes merely a statement of verifiable fact.

Yes because the evidence for those isn't there for anyone else to see. Especially since the word scam practically has no meaning anymore.

One can disprove such accuisations by simply not behaving in a manner that gives them credit.
Also helps when one doesn't announce one's intent to troll in advance.

Fortunately post history exists and people can see that this thread might not exactly be in good faith since the OP has repeatedly called myself and others the very thing in which he is pretending to crusade against.

Sadly some people want to try to re-write history, but they do a horrible job since the truth is so easy to reveal.
