Report a translation problem
(Preferences > Language Preferences > Primary Language)
as for other languages on Steam itself, client, store, here, etc. there is nothing to "simply import". that is minimum months of manual labor that would now have to be paid for.
all of the languages that exist on Steam today was the work of volunteers. that program has been mostly shutdown for different reasons. one was that the program stagnated and more and more languages no longer had volunteers left that translated anything and were out of date. Valve still lets volunteers translate their games but there is looks the same way.
as most companies, if there isn't a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, they probably don't put time and money in to pursue that journey. so i wouldn't get my hopes up that there will be an influx of new language support on Steam anytime soon.
go and contact The Game Developers and The Game Publishers
that you want to do translation to different languages for their Games.
once you got their permissions, then inform Steam as well.
Steam and Valve Corporation don't have a single jurisdiction over what Languages are available for all Steam Games that are being Sold on Steam Platform.
the same holds true on Blizzard Entertainment Gaming Platform.
the same holds true for Ubisoft
the same holds true for EpicGames.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
kindly take note that there is no such thing as
1) Complete Freedom of Speech on Gaming Platforms
you can express your opinions which is a "yes", but you can't "force" people who are working on Steam Platform and Valve Corporation to OVERWRITE Game Developers and Game Publishers at all about their Games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
also, it is stated here in Steam Subscriber Agreement
a) The Content and Services are protected by copyright laws, international copyright treaties and conventions and other laws.
you can't.
And as said, for games that's entirely up to the game developers/publishers. So you'll have to contact them if you want to be able to do something there. Don't get your hopes up, though.
