Public showing of FB linking is probably more a privacy issue.
IMHO: trade inside the trade window, check twice, and you're basically always fine. Anything else can always be circumvented, or checked upon via profile.
I just thought it might be, because I've heard that people hide their profile and still can trade. This makes things more difficult since I wouldn't be able to find out who I'm dealing with. Since the restrictions have changed on trading I was thinking this would make for a better user compliance and over all experience trading with people who want to be more private. I have nothing against a private profile, it actually is my go to if someone is a pest. I’m not sure if I would trade with someine who has a private profile. Given that i'm not friends with them.
And most scammers i've seen have very public and accessible profiles.
This leads me to think of more things that would be great on the mouse hover over. Like if the person has made artwork, or a workshop item, or game they could display it freely on the hover over. Like an ad
