steam user-mouse -hover over user should be able to see more details.
If a user gets a ban it would be great to see it in the user info when i hover over the profile pic or name when i see someone at a glance. It would also be nice if i could see the total posts made by the user. Also if linking fb is possible why not add it here as well as any other linked service. It would just help me figure out who to be friends with or even do business with if a trader or developer.

Click on the small symbol next to someones nickname, view posts.

Public showing of FB linking is probably more a privacy issue.

IMHO: trade inside the trade window, check twice, and you're basically always fine. Anything else can always be circumvented, or checked upon via profile.

private or not it should still warn if I ever wanted to trade with someone who has elected to make their profile private.

I can't see how a private profile has any relevance on trading.

I just thought it might be, because I've heard that people hide their profile and still can trade. This makes things more difficult since I wouldn't be able to find out who I'm dealing with. Since the restrictions have changed on trading I was thinking this would make for a better user compliance and over all experience trading with people who want to be more private. I have nothing against a private profile, it actually is my go to if someone is a pest. I’m not sure if I would trade with someine who has a private profile. Given that i'm not friends with them.

And this has no relevance as long as you trade within the guidelines. I don't need to know who I'm trading with as long as the trade on the trading window is correct.

And most scammers i've seen have very public and accessible profiles.

Okay. I was thinking that personally I would find it difficult to deal with. But I don't trade nearly as much as a typical trader would. Honestly, is there even money to be made at it? Are traders just giving away the items? I ask this because of how curators, and groups generally provide a game to people who participate in a raffle on the steam groups page. If they were to have a symbol on the mouse hover over of their group, it would also be helpful in a way. FB is generally public but with some restrictions, mainly I would have to be a friend to view the person but companies or groups are publicly searchable. those people who choose to be public haven't consider the done side.

This leads me to think of more things that would be great on the mouse hover over. Like if the person has made artwork, or a workshop item, or game they could display it freely on the hover over. Like an ad

this hover over could be changed to not have a link since I can't even get the box to stay in one place when I move the mouse. pic[1drv.ms]

it simply pulls the same data as when you when displayed in the inventory. there is no reason to do 2 different requests which you have to maintain. no one clicks that link anyway.

I got another thing that would be great. You know how bing.com video search results allow for a mouse feature to play back a video, it would be excellent in this client in the app store. I want that. But is it even possible to do something like what's on bing.com?

When I view the community disscusions, this mouse over feature is really annoying. pic[1drv.ms]

Ok, so here I am again. It's another mouse over thing. When in my library, for Age of Empires II HD, the achievements mouse over gets clipped. There is more info but because the mouse over is not word wrapping the text I get the info one on line and it's across the entire display.

Sorry for posting again with no reply from anyone else recently.
