There is no money in that. It would be a net loss in any way.
Make it profitable and Valve may think about it.
I don't think there should be much of an issue really adding it to any game as much, I assume that after first contact its a port to port so Valve servers will not need to suffer from the remote play or the like
Its not really adding much, and if you looking for profit, its one more reason for someone to use Steam over outher services
Only case is maybe someone starting to use it as a remote control app, but honestly again, there is easier stuff and ways to do it then that
To Update:
1. It's more common to use the game "Pummel Paladins" instead of my first mentioned Expandabros for the workaround.
2. To erase the need to copy the game folder you can compile an EXE which starts the game you actually want to start. There are some "bat to exe converter" out there (might not be safe). The command would be
start "path/to/my/game.exe"
However, this shows that Steam is generally able to run Non-Steam Games with Remote Play Together and I would love to have this functionality.
For Context: I own "Travellers Rest" on GOG. While on Steam RPT is enabled, since I bought the game where I wanted to buy it, I can't use this function.
