Translator integration into website database

Think google chrome for your browser interface translator.
For the forums. And anything Steam.
To convert from any post, or thing in any language, through a matrix ( ai basically, if then arrays ) to the users language settings.

Everything is already there, the language matrix, the text fonts, the accounts users settings.

Just script a few lines.
To the server, and client.
And test it on a future client beta update.

I am fairly certain, this will make the platform a lot easier for everyone to read.

Valve can't even get spell check to work right, building in a translator for every language is even harder.

Google has far more experience at this stuff, they have far more money and far more people to throw at it and even they can't get translators right.

Maybe it might happen someday, but I really doubt it. And if it does it will be by working with information tech companies like google, not doing it on their own.

And I can make the tie ins for the infrastructure already in place to occur. Just with the words to the right dev teams.

But Gwar, dont be so negative friend. Let go of whatever it is that has you so disappointed in vALVE, find a way to turn it around. Make it positive. How can you help vALVE ? Instead of bashing them, or me. Without really knowing how it all works, or how things have to happen due to certain things. Sometimes the big picture isnt seen clearly by those who let shadow cloud their vision.

I am a Master in I.T. automatically since HS because of Electronics Engineering. Thats just one field I am in.

just because you can use google translate for free, does not mean you can implement it for free into an commercial app. google translate costs money for commercial use.

You keep bragging about all this stuff. That you have a PHD, a masters, that you are connected these the devs in such a way that you could do it all with just the the words tot he right dev teams. On your profile you brag about "19 years helping VALVe", In another thread you bragged about talking with gabe newell yet in another thread you were asking people how to get in contact with Valve.

I'm sure the Valve people that have read this thread burst out laughing when they looked at this thread and read the others you have posted in.

You can do it all, yet you don't seem to be doing anything. If you are so good why don't you go work for Valve, I hear they make great money and heck you might not even have to move. If you worked so closely with Valve for 19 years as you seem to claim then why do you need to post in the suggestions and ideas area?

Bragging just makes you look bad. People lie/brag about stuff to try to make themselves look more important than they are.

Bragging about being a gmail beta tester means nothing. I beta tested gmail, heck I beta tested Microsoft Hotmail. I believe tested a few things from Microsoft, it wasn't a big deal. I lucked into some of it, they seen me doing some stuff and asked me if I wanted to test some stuff (hardware and software).

I and many others have beta tested lost of stuff from google and microsoft and many other companies over the years. Doesn't mean a whole lot in the long run.


Valve could put a translator in their software in seconds if they wanted, they would just need to pay google for access to it. But that would mean it would have to have a connection to something out of their control, the google servers. This is why their spell checker sucks, they did it all themselves, all in house without the proper knowledge built up over the years to properly build it. They are a gaming company, a store, they are not an information tech company like google.

Its not google.
One, valve already has the settings for your font cache used here. Microsoft, and linux systems told their system that. All valve has to do is tie in the font cache. No google involved. User setting to user setting conversion scripting. Real simple on this platform.

Two, they already know. By a post under suggestions / ideas. Which is where we are. Thanks for stalking me on this platform though, and harassing me.
