And I'm not just talking about Steam here, either. This extends to other platforms too. More and more, we're being censored for giving our thoughts on issues deemed 'too offensive'.

I'm stating simply that having unpopular opinions should not be a bannable offence, and discussing said opinions should be embraced at least privately.
Don't drag your dirt from that site to Steam, it is as simple as that.
You can discuss whatever the ♥♥♥♥ you want privately. But as soon as it is on Steam, it's public.
Having "unpopular opinions" is also not bannable. I will stand here and defending my position on Half-Life 2 being an overrated physics puzzle that has not stand the test of time. On Valve's own forums. But political opinions and other stuff have no place in a gaming forum, doesn't matter if popular or not.
I understand what you're saying though, this is still a gaming platform.
