Having the limit on how many gifts you can give people can be a pain in the rear.
Every now and again when I get hold of a new and good game, I want to gift most people in a group the same game. But as Steam stands at the current time, you can only gift 1 person 1 game or DLC per transaction. So for example if I wanted to gift the people in the group the same game, I would have to go to the store, purchase as a gift, select 1 person, write a note and remember the name of the person and pay for it, then do the same routine for the others, only for an error to come up after approx. 8 gifts; stating that the limit has been reached and to try again in about 6 - 12 hours.

It would be nice if there was an option to select up to at least 4 – 5 people if you want to give them all the same game, then when it comes to the letter, you could send the same letter and have steam just use that persons steam name as the name and you could still choose toy use Game on, best wishes or any of the others and sign your name at the end of it.

What would also be nice is if where was a make gift bundle option, so that if you wanted to gift someone a couple of games/DLC or both; that you would have an option to do so, but as it stands you can only do 1 at a time, which is annoying to say the least.

Sure, but the point is to hobble scammers and abusers. And the reality is most of the time users aren't mass gifting items so the inconvenience is generally minimal. In general features don't revolve around an inconvenienced minority, not when the benefits outweigh the harms.

Valve does not want you to mass-gift and they made this direction very clear by adding more and more restrictions to it over the years.

Seems like while I was still employed I must have been one of the very few.

Sure. I guess a question you might want to answer is how often were you running against this limit? Were you gifting that many games where it was a constant burden?

between Black Friday and Christmas I would get everyone in my list a game as a Christmas present sometimes 2 (Especially if they don't have many games in their account) Thus when Black Friday started I would hit the limit every day.

With it not that far away again, I have to find a new job ASAP. I have no intention to stop gifting.

Your life, your money, your choices, but needing to get a job ASAP to gift games doesn't sound healthy to me. You might want to sit down and think about what would happen or what you're scared of if you don't gift games this year.

Second, there are a ton of charities that can do a lot more with that money than it being tied up as another game in someone's backlog.
