A need for a delete button or an appropriate filter for steam inventory

Hello guys, I wonder if I am the only one who would very much like a "delete this item permanently" button or a filter for items which we cannot sell or send as a gift.

I assume that all steam users have items that are "-permanently- not tradable or not markertable" in their inventory. And as we keep getting more and more items each day, those "-permanently- not tradable or not marketable" ones make things frustrating for users.

Right now, I have 1)"permanently" not tradable or not marketable items; 2)"temporarily" not tradable and marketable ones; 3) marketable ones that I don't want to sell or send as a gift and 4) some trading cards which I keep in order to finish my badges. Among all of these, I do not wish to see those items that I am not able to sell or give as gifts.
They give my visual nerves a pain. They make me run away from my own inventory and never return back to it. They make me feel sick. They make me make these exaggerations.

However, if there were a new filter or a delete option which we could use, It would be a life saver. I have checked the filters either. If I filter "not marketable and not tradable items", It filters all of them. Both permanent and temporary. I have some items that I will never use or never be able to sell (like some of the emotions that we claim every day). But I have some that I am going to sell or use as soon as I can (Like some items that are given after we complete a badge).
Thus, a delete "permanently" button or an extra filter option would be more than great.

I love spending time playing games and selling/buying items. I would be grateful to see a better and more useful steam interface.

I would say that a "hide button" would be much more welcome rather than a "delete".

NO! A delete feature for items would be hell of an invite to kick peoples accounts a** if they were hijacked. Even a hide feature would be garbage because people will "accidentally" click them or what ever there is human stupidity creates and then he forums will be flooded with threads about "How Steam stole my items" and what not

Better filtering would be very welcome though.
Especially UPFRONT filtering where you can choose your filters before the inventory query kicks in since that would speed up trading and browsing by a huge amount of time

1 and 2 are safest as they are simply views.

3 and 4 will generate Steam support tickets because mistakes, errors in judgement or mood, hacks.

Better yet, Steam needs to make these extra inventory items (sales, new year, etc) Opt-in so we can choose to have them or not in the first place.

And the items you get from sales, events, etc that are not tradable or marketable you can choose not to get them, so that's there already....

The items from events are handed out in a blind gacha style where you do not know how disgustingly ugly they are before you receive them and brick your stickers bar entirely by their presence. This delete feature would be less necessary if what you described were ACTUALLY true.
