Unfair default Steam regional pricing for Ukraine change request

TL;DR: Default Steam Regional pricing for Ukraine is about 30-50% higher than for neighbouring countries with higher purchasing power


I am from Ukraine and the default steam pricing recommendation for Ukraine is unreasonably high.
According to https://steamdb.info/ neighboring countries with higher average monthly salaries like Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan have their prices set 30-50%  lower than Ukraine on most games.

Russia which is a country with higher purchasing power than Ukraine has default pricing at nearly 50% less. At the very least the prices for Ukrainian users shall be even with Russian prices. Though considering the difference in purchasing power, they shall be slightly lower for Ukraine.

After messaging few devs requesting them to change the price on their end they said that they use the default regional pricing provided by Steam and it's best if I take this issue to Steam directly.

Even though the option of manually adjusting the regional pricing by publishers/developers does exist, overwhelming majority opt for Steam default pricing. This goes for small independent developers with games such as
Stardew Valley [steamdb.info],
Rimworld [steamdb.info] ,
Cuphead [steamdb.info] and so on as well as major publishers such as Paradox Interactive, Deep Silver, Capcom, etc.

Would gladly purchase more games at fairer prices.

do you really wanna complain that you pay half the usd price for everything?
the prices are fine for your country and even lower that CIS price, which are basically ALL of the relevant neighboring countries.

Countries that are wealthier than Ukraine that get lower prices:

Argentina
Turkey
Brazil
Kazakhstan
Russia

These are the ones that have 30-60% lower prices. There are many more wealthy or equally poor countries that are 10-20% cheaper.
