Saving a Steam text chat logs

The retention period for Steam text chat is too short. Despite sometimes important interactions between me and my friends, I often overlook due to their short shelf life.
Although the following URL was taught by Steam Support, it does not solve the problem of short storage period.

I will give you some suggestions.
1. Increase the storage period.
2. Add new options such as periodically saving locally.

Regarding the latter in particular, please tell me if there is any tool for saving currently.

It stores 2 weeks worth of chats as described here...

• Can now scroll back to load up to two weeks of chat history

Yeah, I already know text chat logs are stored in 2 weeks.
but only 2 weeks for me.

What I would like to ask more directly is whether there is a tool that automates and saves text chat logs.

you will likely have to write it yourself as no one really needs this because there is no point in doing this.
