Well sometimes yes, however some games are times exclusives which end up on other platforms, but some games are exclusive to PC. Hence, it would be much easier to find those with a filter don't you think?
But theres thousands to do that on. Surely when publishers go to Steam to publish a game they know if its going to be PC only or not. If later on it ports to other machines then remove an exclusive flag. Surely couldn't be that hard to implement?
It matters only in the sense that I want to focus on exclusives on each platform. I don't want to have to wade through all the games which are multi platform and will already have played or not wanted to play on consoles. So, to take full advantage of my PC I would rather play PC exclusive games I can't get on consoles. That's most of the reason I built a PC. Sure, they're more powerful but that doesn't bother me that much, im more about enjoying the experiences of each platform so it would narrow down the time in wading through multi platform titles to find PC exclusives :)
EVen where the PC version is the superior version?
Well that'll be up to the devs to decide. and again there's a bit of shortsighted ness since as I mentioned you could buy a game that's a PC exclusive this month and next month or two..Bam Multi-platform. WHat then? YOu're in the same situation you were trying to avoid.
But Steam doesn't do exclusives. Any game on Steam can be released anywhere at the same time, before or after by developers no permanent or timed exclusivity exists. Hence there is no list of such games because there are no such games.
All that does exist are games developers have chosen not to release elsewhere at the moment. A decision which Steam is entirely uninvolved with and doesn't care about.
