Use YubiKey to further improve security in 2FA
Hey, I use a physical security key (yubikey 5 nfc, in my case) to login into my most valuable accounts. Steam is one of them, and it would be very nice to have the possibility to use this type of (very secure) 2 factor authentication, as Google, Facebook, EA, DigiSign, Eve Online, even the infamous Epic Store and a lot of other companies already do. Here's the link with all of them: bit. ly / 384wQ9Q

Anyway, here's my 5 cents to it. Hope Steam takes it into consideration sometime in the future. All my gaming life is packed here. Haha

Thanks for you attention! :D

The fact that you have to bypass the link filter to show off something leads me to think that it's far less 'secure' than you believe it to be.

Because Steam filters link shortener. It's a list of services that support yubi key at the company's site itself.
But hey, let's judge the whole product based on the fact that a user wanted to use a short link. :steamfacepalm:

Those companies do not offer user to user trades or a community market, where transactions need to be approved through an app.

People that ALWAYS wants to use link shortener for literally EVERYTHING instead of using the raw link is kinda ridiculous.

Makes me think they want to hide something.

^^ That was exactly my thought.

If it's legitimate? Send the actual page / product link at the risk of being smacked for advertising.
