Most games have a reset progress function.
But this does not lead to blocking achievements in the user profile.
I ask precisely about the global function in order to reset all my 1,666 achievements to zero, and to start earning them once again.
Valve does offer companies the ability to revoke an achievement, so the only technical possible solution is for companies to implement this in each and every one of their games.
In the mean time, you can make a second account, family share the games with it, and redo the achievements that way.
Starting game from beginning, erasing save data, not resolve this?
I already offered you the foolproof way, family share. If you like to experience the world where such a global option exists, you can use the Steam Achievement Manager to lock all your achievements and see what does and does not work. Most single player games can be made to work. Most multiplayer games keep track of it through their own servers, and won't unlock again.
The game may be tracking achievement progress somewhere other than the save games. It may not even be tracked locally like on the Steam Cloud or for some online games, on the games own servers.
Also, some games are set to auto-push all earned achievements when they start up, in case there was a problem with the request when the achievement was earned. So even if you could just clear them off your Steam account, they may be automaticly re-awarded the next time you start the game up.
as simple as that,if u really want to do it
Is this a legal way? I would not want to earn a ban.
So... Time will tell. I want to reset achievements, not to gain them illegally.
Thanks for all discussion members.

If u just want to remove all achivements,I dont see any problem here
Because as far as I know Valve never care about SAM,I have never heard anyone get banned using it
But some people might hate u if u use SAM to gain achievements(achievement hunters)
But no one will really hate u if u use SAM to reset your achievements, especially if u encounter buggy achievements and the dev wont fix it
Actually, there's at least one online game on Steam that will ban you for messing with your achievements. A games servers can keep track of what achievements you should have and can check to make sure you don't have any you shouldn't.
Also, there's the issue that while SAM may be able to remove an achievement, it may not reset the games achievement tracking properly, meaning that the game may not award the achievement because the trigger wasn't reset. For example, an achievement for killing 500 of something may only award when the 500th one is killed. If the game counter is past that, then it won't hit 500 again and won't award it.
Plus, some games may re-push the achievement award commands to Steam every time the game is started up to make sure that any earned achievements that didn't get pushed to Steam when earned, get taken care of the next time you play. So if you used SAM to remove your achievements, the next time you run the game it will re-award every last achievement on Steam.
Essentially, if the developer doesn't put it in the game, don't count on being able to reset your achievements.
What's the online game that did that?Im curious about that
And for most part,SAM is working perfectly if u use it to gain achievements
But if u use it to remove achievements, sometimes u can encounter that kind of troubles
I wish I could remember. I learned about it when someone was posting in the VAC forum about a game ban, and someone linked to the thread in the games forum where a dev told the player he had been banned for messing with his achievements.
