Achievement Tool
I wish there was some sort of sorting mechanism for your library so that you could see what games you still need to complete the achievements for. Like a “yet to finish” tab or some sort. Also wish that F2P games would show up in your library.

they already have that feature. you simply look at your achievements, the grey ones are what you need to unlock.
The problem with that is I have over 600 games and even if I go through all of them there will be some that don’t even show up in my library with achievements that still need to be completed. I’m saying I wish there was a way to have a feature that says “next recommended achievement” or simply just another tab in the library section where you can order games by % of achievements completed.

I honestly don't get some people's obsession with achievements. I have some games that I'd LIKE to get as much achievements as I can for it. Just go for all the achievements for your favorite games, once you've done that, move onto some other games you like or buy a new game you think you'll love and get the achievements from that. This honestly feels like a feature that 0.000000000000000001% of Steam's userbase will use(so possibly only the OP).
Why is everyone just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on this like Jesus I’m just asking if it can be done or if it’s already in use and I don’t know about it. Many people hunt achievements for a multitude of reasons. I do it so my profile looks good. Others do it so they feel a sense of accomplishment.

achievements: unlikely to get changed drasticly. there are 3rd party tools which do what you want.

uninstalled f2p games: were removed from library via public demand, sincerly the public demand. i never lost a word about it but i support the public demand.
if some f2p games are so important to someone, they will probably not forget their name, and with that it is just a search and some clicks away from installing it again. one click less will not change anything.

And displaying achievement information in the library list would be a change to the Steam client. So it is a valid suggestion. As long as it's something optional so that those who want to see it can, and those that don't can leave it off, it shouldn't be a big deal to people who don't want itl.

I'd honestly rather they dedicate resources to improvements that more people could/would use.

I think there's a couple websites for steam which will pull your profile data (it will have to be public) and aggregate some info for you. Run a quick google search.
I know about websites and apps that display games with achievements and such, but unfortunately after I hit 500 games those websites and apps now crash and don't respond when i try to use them. Plus it isn't like steam is making any big changes to the client and hasn't done so in ages. They made your wishlist better by making it so you can view games by categories such as discounts and price. So why can't they do that to game libraries? Just add another rubric to the Library tab. Shouldn't be too much to ask for.

people working at Valve dedicate their time to what they think is most valuable to them and there is more interesting garbage to work on then achievements. it is that simple.

Tell me the last thing that Valve worked on for the steam client besides refurbishing the Wishlist.

The made it easier to buy the missing cards you need to craft a badge. Also, you can now bulk list cards to the market if they are part of the same set.

wishlist not part of the client and client is heavily documented what they changed.

the market card stuff was recently, it was so recently that it isn't even properly implemented. is also nothing client related.

library part of the client, which displays something with achivements will get an full facelift. whatever they will do to it, happens.
