Why is it that every crypto enthusiast turns into a condescending jerk the moment they're challenged? Is that hard-coded, or something? Is it genetic?

Blockchain will see adoption throughout the financial industry for transparency in the future, but something with a price that's easily manipulated by whales won't win over Joe public. There's a reason the stock markets are regulated. Pushing a coin like this is only done because the large majority of people involved have a motive to push up the value of their own holdings.
Crypto at the moment is more confusing than shopping in Zimbabwe... by the time you spend or cash out, you might get twice what you wanted or you might need another wheelbarrow full of it to get what you want. :D
That very fact is why it can never work as a currency. It's already at thee point where the supply is heavily concentrated ina small minority.
