Hello, I understand your reasoning for not accepting BTC anymore. Network congestion, high fees ect... but Litecoin is super speedy and has no congestion. I liked being able to pay for games with crypto, I even bought more because of it. Please allow for payments with Litecoin. Easy to implement, and there will be no congestion.

No. Steam want's real money. Not unregulated, volaille cryptocurrencies. Keep your monopoly money and exchange them for real money and then buy games on steam.

Here is a copy of something I have posted previously. It tends to hold true for any type of requst for Crypto currency.

Valve seemed reluctent to even take Bitcoin, with its long history. I don't see them accepting a new Crypto with little to no history.

Even Bitcoin, as has been said, isn't directly accepted by Valve, but through a 3rd party. If there is a 3rd party who is willing to pay Valve cash, while they accept the Crypto, then that 3rd party would need to contact Valve and form a relationship with them.

With more then 1k Cryptocurrencies in circulation, I do not see any company dedicating resources to more then a few and only then, with something more established and stable. Honestly, untill people can agree on a single Cryptocurrency and it gets some Government backing, they are all just a risk many are not willing to take.

Crypto is too fragmented and volatile to be the future in it's current state. Reminds me of the history of US currancy. There were dozens of them for the longest time, until the federal government madated a single currency, so until Crypto can settle on a single one and everyone back it and it stabilizes in price, it isn't going anywhere. Right now, people just want to use what is more advantageous to themselves.

I'm all for Crypto currency, but I don't see it happening for a long time and not with out some kind kind of Government backing and/or control.

Until then, "Cash is King" as the saying goes.

someone tries it abour every 20-50 years in some form, and it always turns out the same (A bried period of success, then it crashes when invester figure out how dangerous the investment is and cash out).. the only difference this time is that it is digital



crypto is not a currency, it is a placeholder for currency.. if you wish to spend it, convert it to cash yourself adn spend that

Merely a suggestion. I used BTC all the time to purchase games through Steam - was easy and fast. Far too much vitriol to even have a civil debate about this within this community. potatos actually have more value.. they have a few physical alternative uses, as such they can be used as a form of barter

I went through a phase where I thought crypto was a good idea. I'm just as p****d off as everyone else with the last financial crisis but but now I just think it's a solution looking for a problem.

Blockchain will see adoption throughout the financial industry for transparency in the future, but something with a price that's easily manipulated by whales won't win over Joe public. There's a reason the stock markets are regulated. Pushing a coin like this is only done because the large majority of people involved have a motive to push up the value of their own holdings.

Crypto at the moment is more confusing than shopping in Zimbabwe... by the time you spend or cash out, you might get twice what you wanted or you might need another wheelbarrow full of it to get what you want. :D
