Valve can't really shut down sites as it would be easy for them to just create another. Instead, they update VAC to catch the new, ever changing, cheats.

If they weren't removed, one might imagine you're trying to show off those sites and get something for it from them. Just because you think you're doing a good thing by "showing them how easy it is" ... doesn't make it smart to link to them. They're censored for good reason. Valve knows about them. There's nothing, as said before, that can really be done at that level. So next time you consider "warning people" or steam about them... they already know. They're way ahead of most players in that regard.

You are under the assumption that they aren't. As Spawn already pointed out, you can't remove things from the internet - but they can ban for it - and they do.

Don't believe these sites when they claim they're undetected, they're trying to sell people a product and often come with malware to steal your Steam-account, gain access to your mail and even bank account.
