Steam login verification alternative: scan QR code with phone
I'm kinda OK for getting a code from phone and then typing them down in computer for verification.

I would find it easier and safer if you could get an alternative way of verification for login. That is when you get a Steam generated QR code with 4-5 numbers/letters on PC and then there is a pop-up notification on a phone which says that PC wants your verification and so you click on that notification and it opens camera integrated into a specific tab of the steam app. Before you scan the code with the phone, check numbers if they match the ones that appear on the screen of your phone and computer and then scan code with your phone. when scanned, you're verified and got into your account!

This may not be a good verification method for older phones/tablets, that's why I suggest it just as an alternative.

What's next?
We’re already working on improvements to the Steam Chat app, including voice chat. With Steam Chat moving to its own dedicated app, the original Steam Mobile app will see significant upgrades focused on account security. Our plans include better Steam Guard options to help securely log into your Steam account, such as QR codes and one-touch login, and improved app navigation.

Wasn't that one of the other things planned after the split with the Chat app?
