Beg to differ, it's recognized as such in many places including universities.
I think it might make a cute April Fools gag here, but probably not a full blown language.
And if it does get that I'm absolutely gonna vie for my Vortigese, as I've got at least as much vocabulary for it as Klingon ...
Latin, which is considered a dead language, is more common than Klingon and even that shouldn't be put into Steam. I haven't actually heard someone speak in Klingon in decades (not including the TV shows), and it was someone from KAG who was doing a bit of a show for one of the older Trek movies that was coming out. (Walking in on a Klingon woman in full battle gear in the mens bathroom when I had no idea they were there, had me worried for a few seconds that I had eaten something I shouldn't have)
Where as I have heard someone speaking a bit of Latin just a few years ago.
If you want it in games, go ask the game makers, in their games discussion areas, to put it into the games. You will however be ignored by most. If they don't have it, the Star Trek games might be the only ones that might put it in if they are still being developed.
Uhm, it IS a real language. It's not a natural language and one without L1 speakers, but it's a real language.
I mean still that said: no, I don't see it 'happening'. But don't diss it, Klingon and whatever the heck that elfin stuff is, they're 'real' enough to be of use to a reasonable number of people. Will they ever be 'spoken normally'? nah. I mean, unless the world ends and you happen to be at a sci fi convention and that's the last group of people on earth.
That would be a marvelous future, "mom where do our words come from?"
