Musics on steam user profile
Hello everyone, im notFox and lets to the point.
I've started on steam about 3-4 years ago with few games on my account, the time has passed and i saw somethings in the plataform changes or start and now i had much more games and things to suggest.
I wanna to show you my idea: Musics on steam users profiles.
Many users like to "makeup" their own profile with pictures, achievements, best games, best badges, backgrounds, etc... but has no options for add music on them, so i bring the suggestion to users can use the games soundtracks available on steam as option to put a background music on their profiles.
It can make the producers devevolping more investiment content to their games and more customizations for users and for those who don't want to listen the music, valve can just add a option to disable/enable them whenever you want.

No, it's a horrible idea, no matter how often it's suggested.

Yay, MySpace...
Like already said it's been asked before, and they all went the same way as this one is going, no one wants that, it belongs on myspace.

If I'm browsing the web I don't like it when I suddenly have an automatic download for bandwidth hogging feature such as autoplaying music.

I also don't like to suddenly have music playing while I'm web browsing.

Exception is on a video site, and even there, I kinda hate YouTube autoplay because generally speaking I DON'T want to watch another video immediately after the first video.

I don't need nor want to listen to people's terrible taste in music. It'll never happen.
A little "theme song" that can be played by pushing a button on the players profile? Maybe, but probably not.

Automatic music? No way.

NEVER going to happen. why? copyright! Valve would have to pay money every single time its played.

You want someone to hear music while on your profile, tell them to open up a browser to a song on youtube or where ever and have that playing in the background.

Or, ... I know that sounds crazy ... the music could be proivded by the developers just like backgrounds.
This is such an awful idea, why do people still think others want to hear some random music when they open a web page? There is a reason MySpace is dead.

Yeah, click-to-play would be pretty okay I guess.
