Option to set profile background to static
Option to set the profile background to static object (not moving when you scrolling down).

I don't know why it wasen't made that one in the first place. I'd like to see this happen.

Never scrolled for me. Everything below the background on longer profiles will fade to black.

Same for me, in Steam, Chrome, Firefox and IE, no scrolling, just fade to black.

steam profile looks best on 1400 x 900 otherwise it looks anorexic
and seriously whats with such small profile backgrounds ?
at least make it compulsory and an effort to make them actually fit your profile
the whole way

i think the scrolling-static background is a good idea.

Oh, your suggestion is to make it float so it will not be affected by scrolling but always visibile the same?

That will break backgrounds on smaller window sizes though, as you will always see the same section.

I never really even noticed until I read this and started playing with it. Not a big deal to me tbh.

It is real easy to do as a user demostrated a couple years ago... not sure why this isn't an option already

Commenting in the year of our lord 2020, where it takes literally one line of CSS to fix a background in place.

.background-classname{position:fixed;}

@valve please i'm begging you, the profiles look so bad
