Report a translation problem
Copy the Dota2 folder from there to the other computer steamapps/common folder.
Steam will either recognize the files are there on start, or if you try to install the game, saving you from downloading it again.
I tried this, but it's stll need to download, when I pause and start it again, suddenly 4.5/5.5gb need to download. I wondering what's this 1gb extra... any information?

2. login into steam
3. download Dota 2 only to set up the folder and pause the download
4. Manage Libraries, right click on Dota2, and "delete local content"
5. copy your dota2 files (dota 2 beta) into SteamApps/common/
6. after you finish copy, go to Steam and try to install Dota2 again
7. steam will automatically verifying your dota 2

it doesn't work on my files.
i can't see the common folder instead i saw folder of (downloading/570/) inside steamapps...
now i don't know where to put my copied files from my friend.
PLEASE HELP.
