Sorry about the language.. pretty pissed off by all the sqrew-ups at Microsoft that has used 3 billion dollars do develop Windows 8.. a completely useless kindergarden piece of ♥♥♥♥ system..
1) Click on "Library" from within steam.
2) Right click on the game you want to remove
3) Select "Delete Local Content" (As stated above)
4) Enjoy not having that game
Or use the Add/Remove program feature in Windows.
Both will work.
What that is suggesting is for a program that you deleted but isn't removed form the Add/Remove Programs list. Not to remove the program from your computer.
To uninstall a game, you can either right click and select "Delete local contents" in Steam, or you can Uninstall using the "Add/Remove Programs"/"Programs and Features" list. Of course, if you deleted the registry key then it will not show in the control panel and you will have to uninstall through the client.
