Steam Market "Sell an item" button not working?

I've run into a strange problem. When I click the button to put something for sale on the market, instead of bringing up the sell interface, the page darkens slightly and then nothing happens. What's up?

it works there

You need to buy a game with money per year and wait 30 days. U need a premium account on Team Fortress 2 if u want to sell tf2 related stuff

i get that sometimes, when clearing my browser cache. all seem fine after that.. Chrome that is. I use firefox too at times.

I bought a ton of items and games on Steam in the past few months, and I am getting this same issue constantly, so that is not the problem.

I already have a premium TF2 account. Had it since before it went free to play.
