Something you CAN check however -- go to the "steamapps\common" folder under the Steam install directory. This is where all of the games are being installed -- see if any games are taking up unusual amounts of space there.
It's true, the amounts are technologically impossible because that's far more than 1TB.
I checked in many game folders in the directory you suggested. I can't seem to find any trace of what could be the cause of this problem. When I pull up the properties of the C drive, it tells me that all but around 6GB has been used up. I might have to report this problem directly to Valve Support since this issue applies exclusively to my games on Steam.
It says that the all the content in the Steam folder adds up to about 313 GB. Which is extremely less than the amount it would be if the uninstaller was displaying accurate amounts of space taken up by the games.
Well, many games these days download more graphics than the stated amount if your computer can take it. I would say go into settings and change the graphic quality, reinstall it or contact steam. Hope this helps.
