What do the different colored texts mean?
whenever i get on steam the text 'you've played' and 'last played' and 'achievements' and friends' is either green red or blue. and my picture box in the bottom left of steam is blue or green when im online. what do these diferent colored text and different colored picture box mean?

Gray = offline
Blue = online
Green = Currently playing a game

Blue box means you are on-line. Green means you are playing a game.

Not sure what you are referring to with the text color.

you know how it says 'youve played'and however many hours it is youve played for that game. well the 'youve played' text changes color. lately its been red.

I have never had that happen. Can you post a screenshot?

He's talking about when you're in your library and click on a game. Next to the PLAY or Install button, it says You've played and it changes color everytime you click that game. I think it's just for show and doesn't mean anything.

The text color changes to match the background pictures main color.

What about Pink = fabulous?

I have that round my picture all the time. What? Nobody else gets it? Fair enough ;)

:plane:Like I said, the text color matches the primary color of the current background.
"Achievements", "Recent News", "Links" and "Categories" all change as well.

When someone is "online" in a game, it shows the green status (if they are not invisible).

Do note: if someone's game details are private, they'll appear as blue when in-game.

Big thanks to whoever resurrected an 8 year old thread /s, but i think what i said will be useful for ages to come.
