Unauthorized sale
Hello, this situation I will talk about has happened to me 3 times. They sell and withdraw the money in my steam wallet in exchange for ridiculous items. I wrote to steam support before, but they sent a template message and closed the ticket. Now I have experienced this again, I seem to have bought a dota item with an average price of 0.02 dollars for 29.18 dollars. When I look at the authorized devices, I logged in from a device from New York and I live in Turkey, I removed the device, I sent a ticket to the steam support team again, but I am sure they will not be interested, can you help me?

Review where you have been logging into steam from, 3rd party websites, public computers, etc..

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

As for getting the items back, you won't.

I know all of these and I have already done it many times, I have also formatted the computer 3 times just for this reason, unfortunately, this is not the solution, someone has found the vulnerability of the steam application and in this way, many people are doing the same process in this way. Also, the answer came from steam and they said to change your password as if I did not know it and they said that there could not be a refund.
You'll have to figure out how you were tricked into giving away your login information and make sure it doesn't happen again.

I didn't click on any link, man, I don't download anything to my computer except steam and known applications, they found a way to do the same on my phone and they continue to do this, I'm not the only one who has this problem and steam again said sorry, as we know, there is nothing we can do, like a joke.

if someone knows the code to the treasury vault, why steal a few dollars from a guard inside the vault?
... makes no sense.

you are compromised, physical and/or digital.

Actually, it is not unreasonable because they are not stealing only from me. I don't know if it is special for our country but this situation is very much in Turkey and steam does not care.

No. You are failing to secure your account and/or device and keep getting compromised or you aren't securing them properly. Steam's security works as intended by design so if you are losing money/items then there is an issue your end whether you can understand it or not.

Formatting the computer and phone is supposed to solve everything, but even that doesn't work, the only thing I can do other than that is to burn the computer and phone, there is no other option, if I had the problem here, many users in my country would not complain about it.

Formatting the computer and phone is pointless if hijackers still have access to your account.

No way because I changed my email and steam password many times and also changed steam guard codes etc.

Yes but if you didn't deauthorize all other devices then any changes you make are still captured by the scammers who still have session access to your account.
It's not about only ur country, in france same problem, but u are losing ur time here, everyone keep saying that alot of ppl are dumbass giving their acc, and for those ppl, when u reset all pass/computer and still happen there is a problem and not from us, also u talk about authorized devices, ok let's see it, there is my computer ok, and, and my phone, thats it and as i know, i am the only one that have acces to my phone and my computer so no, there is a real problem of acc getting stealed somehow !

There is another possibility but it is my own opinion

1) the current person who starts this thread is not the original owner of this steam account

In other words, it is a bought steam account

Can guarantee that you will deny it.

----------

One reason

a) you don't know the actual email account used for the creation of steam account

---------

Sellers can just give the buyer the username of creation of steam account and password

They won't give the buyer the email account that is used for the creation of steam account

You're really funny, man, what you're talking about is already illegal. If I did something like that, why would I ask for help here and expose myself?

Unfortunately, my friend, and steam does not take any measures against this in any way, and it does not even listen to us, it keeps giving ready-made answers, and in the future, it can even be withdrawn directly from our credit card.

Here are several things

1) email accounts can be compromised as well

2) clicking links on discord can also cause your computer to get infected with malware

3) visiting 3rd party malicious websites and log in your steam account and gaming accounts there is asking for it to be compromised

4) linking steam account to insecure 3rd party accounts will also be compromised

........etc

----------

Up till now, my steam account is not even hijack by anyone and not even compromised at all

Ok ill repeat myself; email not compromised, clicking links, i dont talk to random ppl on discord, only my friends, i already did anti malware nothing detected, visiting 3rd party websites, like? i dont trade/gamble or whatever, so no i dont go on those sites and i never ever put my steam log somewhere my steam acc is like my playstation acc, no one have acces on those acc and i never log with those acc
