You can only upload files less than 8 MB in file size *error*

I'm trying to upload my new steam artwork, but it won't let me save it. Always this error pops up "Artwork must be under 8 MB," even though the file size is less than 6 MB.

Artwork Middle

Width = 506
Length = 800
File size = 5.84 MB

Artwork Right

Width = 100
Length = 800
File size = 1.82 MB

I am an official artwork creator on Fiverr, Upwork, and many other platforms I have a dozen clients and more than 100 artworks, and this issue is not just with me and my new artwork. My clients are receiving the same error when they try to upload the artwork. I am also having the same issue with my old artworks which my clients and I have uploaded on steam already and we know they work, but now when I try to re-upload them from a different account, the same error appears.

I'm guessing you think that I'm a newbie but with due respect I am not, I've uploaded more than 30 artworks and created more than 100 artworks, so yeah, I know what I'm dealing with. This error is something new, possibly a glitch. Please resolve this as soon as possible.

I have attached as many Screenshots as I could that will also shed some light on the issue.

Note: I have also tried changing the length to 780,700,650 but still me and my client got the same error every time.

Yeah I am not very happy about this either :/ I just pray that this is only temporary but the chances of that diminish every day but seeing and 5MB limit boils my blood I won't lie.

The workaround I guess is uploading the animations in your steam workshop showcase. I believe there are tutorials for workshop showcases.. Better than nothing at this point. Not too happy but your animations will look better :D Worth giving it a try.

for workshop the mb limit is the same as for artworks. Yes you can make them longer a better looking than featured artwork but they could look better if they would allow us the 8mb

This is a massive kick in the balls to people who do animated artwork showcases on steam. I did not know workshop's were affected either.

I'm speechless at this point.

Seriously? Saved a lot of artworks that are around 6-7 mb for when this is fixed. And now you limit it to 5 mb? GG Steam. And now what? I need to compress them that they look like a 8 bits game? Disapointing

Got 3 artworks that i paid alot of money for and they're all around 6-7 MB. I guess it was money out the window now because of this, can't even upload any of them anymore..

Oh thats sad :(

Ask your designer to change them to workshop. Workshops have only 5-15% of quality drop.

They just lowered it from 8mb to 5mb. Steam is just something else.
