Paypal and the steam wallet, 3 working days, Seriously ?

Just added some money to my Steam wallet through Paypal and I can't make a purchase using my wallet for 3 days whilst Steam verifies the funds, Seriously ?
The money came out of my bank account within seconds but Steam makes me wait 3 days ?
This is 2013 and not 1913 ?

Sounds like paypal verification process, steam is usually instant or much longer than 3 days. New payment option when used on steam takes like 15 days.

Yeah its for fraud prevention and its ok..Only 3 days is not so bad compairing if you get a new credit card on your account then its 15 days......It happened to me i wanted to pre-order a game with a new credit card since my old was expired....got to wait and didnt get the pre-order bonusses i wanted...

Indeed, but a bank account isn't a paypal account.
When I pay with my bank account, stuff's instantly transfered.

Last time I tried to put money on Paypal, it took over a month. Had enough of their crap soon after that.
Had a few more issues with them... And I just don't like any kind of issues when it comes to money. Zero tolerance on that end.

Well ya 3 days to allow someone that may be the owner of the account to see some cash was taken out of his bank
I think that is why they have it... its not only to see you have it but also to be sure its yours

The thing that really f***ing annoys me is how I can't cancel the PayPal transaction. I bought €5,- for my Steam wallet through PayPal to be able to make a purchase on the Rust market. I then got the message that I had to wait for three days because my PayPal wasn't verified, so I just added €5,- directly through my bank. Now the message is still there and I still can't buy the items, even though I added the money directly through my bank too.

Either make it so you can instantly cancel the PayPal transaction or make it so you can buy up to the amount of money transferred from your bank. This is just a f***ing horrendous system as it is. Yikes Steam, yikes...

PayPal can not be verified by the system unless it is an already saved payment method. It is a PayPal thing, not Valve...

Buy wallet cards/codes and never deal with verification again.

Or use a payment method that can be verified.
