An error occured while updating Dota 2 (connection time out) Problem?!!

Solution that worked for me:
Go to Steam -> Settings -> DOWNLOADS + CLOUD tab,
set approximate speed of your internet connection to: Cable/Fibre > 10M,
or any other settings just try them.

This is happening to me. I have tried changing download region and nothing has worked so far. Just about to cycle modem.

Some people fixed it by changing steam to beta download by going steam >settings >account >opt for beta. This didn't work for me but might for you guys

Finally fixed for me, had to unistall steam completely

^ same here xD and THEN i reset download region, i kept my SteamApps folder so i didnt have to redownload my other games though

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me.
I have uninstalled steam and now dota 2 is not downloading.
always say an error occurred while installing dota 2, connection timed out

CS:GO and all my other games can be installed with no problem except for dota 2, don't know whyy
